Work at Highway 99 and the Steveston Interchange is causing road closures and delays for B.C. Ferries passengers headed to and from Tsawwassen.
Concrete girder installation at Highway 99 and the Steveston Interchange in Richmond began Friday, causing intermittent road closures and delays for B.C. Ferries passengers headed to and from Tsawwassen.
Highway 99 will be closed during “off-peak travel times,” said B.C. Ferries, noting that those travelling during closures will be detoured around the construction.
Closures will take place from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 20 to Friday, July 25.
B.C. Ferries asked passengers to plan their trips with the closures in mind and to anticipate delays. East-west traffic on the Steveston Highway will continue as normal for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists.
