Comox Valley RCMP have charged a man with second-degree murder in connection with a suspicious death in Courtenay

A statement from the detachment said that the death occurred on June 20, and an autopsy revealed it was a homicide.

Cameron McIndoe, a 37-year-old resident of the valley, was charged after being arrested on Wednesday.

McIndoe and the victim, who remains unnamed, were known to each other, said the RCMP statement.
