Security videos show two separate incidents at a Bellamy Road construction site on Wednesday.
West Shore RCMP have released images from security videos showing two separate thefts from a construction site in Langford on Wednesday.
In the first incident at 10:40 a.m. at 2165 Bellamy Rd., two male suspects are seen loading equipment in a black F150 pickup.
The vehicle is believed to be a later model two-door F150 with a black folding cover, a Harley Davidson sticker on the left side of the tailgate and writing on the box of the truck.
The driver is described as having light skin colour, dark facial hair, a dark baseball cap, white T-shirt, dark pants and black boots. The passenger had a light skin colour and was wearing a white tank top, tan shorts, white shoes and a white visor cap.
About four hours later, a second theft from the same site was interrupted by witnesses who reported a white truck driving away at a high rate of speed, said police, adding the suspect likely realized they were being watched.
That vehicle is described as a white two-door older-model pickup, possibly Chevrolet, with a black cargo liner and two tires in the box.
Police are asking anyone who knows the suspects in the thefts or the location of the trucks to call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers online or by calling 1-800-222-8477.
