A fire discovered Sunday at Ivanhoe Creek, east of Port Renfrew near Jordan River, is burning out of control, according to the B.C. Wildfire Service.
Two wildfires were discovered on Vancouver Island Sunday, bringing the Island’s total to four.

It has burned 0.38 hectares, according to a Monday morning update from the service, and its cause is under investigation.
A fire burning west of Duncan near the Cowichan River was also found on Sunday. North Cowichan fire crews and the B.C. Wildfire Service have responded to the blaze, burning on Cowichan Tribes reserve land.
North Cowichan Fire Chief Ron French said about 26 firefighters from his team battled the fire alongside two wildfire initial attack crews and two helicopters.
French said the fire is around one hectare in size and is currently under control.
The B.C. Wildfire Service map shows two fires in the area, but French said they both refer to the one fire burning in his jurisdiction.
A fire near the Pacific Marine Road on the border of the capital and Cowichan Valley regional districts, discovered July 2, remains under control and has burned 5.36 hectares.
Another fire found June 8 west of Port Alberni is also under control, having burned 19.1 hectares.
